ALBERT FORSTER (1902 - 1952) Nazi politician, Gauleiter of Danzig-West Prussia. A ruthless and notorious anti-Semite, he established about 70 camps in Pomerania where Poles were subjected to murder, torture and in the case of women and girls, rape before execution. In all, he killed upwards of 60,000. Executed. A.Q.S. on an 11" x 14" page taken from a guest album associated with the 1932 elections: "'The recovery of our blood is the prerequisite for Germany's freedom' Albert Forster 19. March 1932". Fine.
