(1950-2001) American serial killer, a drifter who it is believed was responsible for more than fifty random murders. A.L.S., 2pp. folio, Huntsville, April 11, 1993, to a Shawn Johnson. Lucas talks at length about how he would like to be able to paint in prison, but is unable to purchase the necessary supplies. He transmits some bank slips that his correspondent can use to transfer him money (not present). He signs at the conclusion in black ink. Shows original mailing folds, else very good. The original transmittal envelope is present, bearing Lucas' signature at top left in black ink as part of his return address. Two signed pieces.
