(1907 - 1974) Nazi leader of the Hitler Youth and Gauleiter of Vienna, sentenced at Nuremburg to twenty years for war crimes. A.L.S. "Baldur" in English, 3pp. 8vo., Trossingen, Nov. 6, 1970, to an unnamed American correspondent. In small part: "…On another wall I have had adjusted my entire collection of [walking] sticks (95% from you), all side-by-side in special holders fitted with rubber - same as brooms are kept in many households - the impression is fascinating… Your letter with the newspaper clippings was very interesting. I followed the electorial [sic] campaign in detail and am less worried about the result… Crime is increasing here too. Not in small towns like Trossingen, but in larger places women and girls can not leave their homes in the dark without the protection of a man…" Schirach signs at the conclusion in blue ink. Shows staple holes at top left, else very good.
