(1900 - 1981) Very early member of the Nazi Party. A journalist, Esser was the editor of the Nazi paper "Völkischer Beobachter", and a Nazi member of the Reichstag, besides being a de facto deputy of Adolf Hitler. Good association A.N.S., 1p. 8vo., Berlin, March 21, 1939, to SS officer PHILIPP BOUHLER (1889-1945), who supervised the euthanasia of mentally and physically handicapped patients under the "Aktion T4" program. Esser pens a dedication to his "old comrade" in blue ink, and signs at the conclusion. Likely removed from a book. Shows a horizontal fold, else very good.
