(1905-1981) Nazi German architect and Minister of Armaments and War Production, convicted of war crimes at Nuremberg. Signed and inscribed book in German, Speer's "Spandauer Tagebucher" ("Spandau: The Secret Diaries"), (Frankfurt: Propylaen Verlag), 1975, 671pp. 8vo., his memoir of his relationship with Hitler and his imprisonment at Spandau following his conviction at Nuremberg. Speer signs in blue ink on the title page, adding a barely-legible dedication, the place "Heidelberg" and the date "12.14.76" The original dust jacket shows some folds and tears, else very good.
