Good lot of four printed documents, each a "Verordnungsblatt" ("ordinance sheet") published by the military commander of Belgium and Northern France in German, Flemish Dutch and French, all enacting restrictions on the Jewish populations there. Each are between six and 12pp. 4to., and dated: Nov. 5, 1940; Dec. 2, 1941; April 21, 1942; and June 1. 1942. The earliest ordinances officially define Jewish heritage and mandate the registration of all such individuals with the military commander, while the additional examples demand the separation of Jews from all official positions and further specific restrictive measure. Not fully translated by us, but all presenting specific guidelines for the oppression of Jews in these occupied territories. All show some toning or foxing, else very good. Should be seen.
