T.L.S. as Army Chief of Staff, 1p. 8vo., Washington, D.C., Nov. 27, 1946, to a Herbert P. Elliott. Eisenhower thanks his correspondent for his thoughtful letter and respectfully declines an invitation to be an usher at Elliott's wedding! He signs at the conclusion in blue ink. Shows original mailing folds and staple holes at the top left corner, else very good.
