(1865 - 1937) German general and politician, with Hindenburg in World War I he was responsible for the defeat of Russia, and later nearly crushed the Allies on the Western Front. Later, he joined forces with Hitler in the Beer Hall Putsch and became a member of the Reichstag. Scarce T.L.S., 1p. large 4to., [n.p.], Dec. 4, 1935 to book publisher Erwin Schnell. Largely untranslated but sending thanks to his friend, offering assistance, and asking that he read a book which Ludendorff would soon forward, probably for publication. File holes and a few tears at left margin, else very good.
