An uncommon war relic, a German soldier's 1942 date and address book, including within a neatly penned train schedule, addresses (including one in Dachau), a hunting rhyme, and various other notes. The soldier identifies himself within as Obergefreiter Josef Johann, "Stab 2305", and notes that he was born in 1875 in Cologne. The piercing was from the front, about the width of a .30 cal. bullet, and could only have been caused by a high-speed projectile. The age of the puncture is almost certainly contemporary to that of the book.
