(1893 - 1946) Nazi leader considered the ideologist of Nazism, Reichsminister of the eastern territories, executed at Nuremberg. Historically important signed fingerprint arrest record of Alfred Rosenberg, 2pp. 8” x 8”, taken at “CCPWE #32”, May 26, 1945 – eight days after his arrest while hiding, drunk, in a Flensburg hospital. This document, almost certainly the first such record taken from the “Reichsminister (ret.) is labeled "Prisoner of War Preliminary Record". It bears prints of all ten fingers, as well as the war criminal’s occupation as “Author & Architect”, birth date, address, date of capture (erroneously set forth as 18 April 1945”, physical description, etc. It is signed “Alfred Rosenberg” at center-right. Fine condition. Rosenberg was being held at the prisoner-of-war camp in the Palace Hotel of Mondorf-les-Bains, Luxembourg, code named "Camp Ashcan". "CCPWE #32" is an abbreviation for the “Central Continental Prisoner of War Enclosure #32.” Operating from May to August 1945, it served as a processing station and interrogation center for the 86 most prominent surviving Nazi leaders prior to their trial in Nuremberg, including Hermann Goring and Karl Donitz.
