(1890 - 1945) Nazi leader and ardent anti-Semite who as head of the Labor Front ruthlessly enforced slave labor policies. He committed suicide in his jail cell at Nuremburg while awaiting trial. S.P. "Dr. R. Ley", 5 1/4" x 6 1/2" b/w, a chest-up view of Ley in civilian clothing printed on light paper, possibly taken from a publication. He signs in black ink at bottom. Shows a few slight surface scuffs, else very good to fine. Sold with a period 8" x 10" b/w press photo showing British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain speaking during the 1939 World Congress on Recreation, as Ley looks on. Two pieces.
