Good pair of letters sent by two different prisoners held at the notorious German concentration camp at Auschwitz, on official letter forms and in the original official envelope or a folding letter canceled at Auschwitz. One letter, Apr. 5, 1942, was written by prisoner Jan Sikorski, No. 19086 and probably sent to his girlfriend, has had a large section removed by the censor. The second letter was sent by prisoner Stanislaw Kierozalska, No. 159464, to his wife and children at Litzmannstadt. The letters are untranslated. Overall very good. On 15 October 1942, Sikorski, a 39 year old slave laborer in the arms factory in Radom, and nine others were hanged near in that city the Warsaw highway in a reprisal action.
