Lot of ten pieces of varied ephemera directly or indirectly tied to the persecution of Jews and others. Includes: two postcards sent by the same slave laborer working for a company near Breslau to different individuals in Poland, with both pieces bearing a military labor postmark and the printed message: "The Fuhrer only knows battle, work and care. We will do our part", lengthy Polish texts not translated; a death certificate issued from Auschwitz on May 24, 1943, not cause of death indicated, the first name partly lost; a mailing and return receipt for a package sent to Theresienstadt; four envelopes sent from Germany to Jews in the U.S., all of which were opened by the German military and resealed with tape indicating that fact; two Polish Red Cross stamp sheets issued Nov. 1, 1945 raising money for "Dachau-Allach"; and a commemorative postal cover canceled May 8, 1945, V-E Day, depicting a starving woman freed from her chains.
