Rare pair of documents awarded to Obergefreiter Gerhard Frohwein of 1. Fallschirmjager-Division. Included is the award of his Fallschirmjager Badge, 1p. 8vo., [n.p.], Berlin, Aug. 18, 1943, signed with a stamp. File holes in left margin. SOLD WITH: a very unusual and likely equally rare document signed by Major Gen. KARL-LOTHAR SCHULZ (1907–1972), German paratroop general and recipient of the Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords, a veteran of Crete, Russia and Italy. Schulz signs a 1p. 4to. partly-printed D.S., [n.p.], Feb. 10, 1945, a "Treue um Treue" document in which Frohwein's pledges his devotion to his wife, Erna. Boldly signed by Schulz at bottom. File holes, else fine.
