(1875 - 1947) German politician who served as National Treasurer of the Nazi Party. T.L.S. as Party Treasurer on official letterhead, 1p. 4to., Munich, Apr. 9, 1943 to Alice von Schobert, the widow of Eugen Siegfried Erich Ritter von Schobert (1883 – 12 September 1941). Her husband, a general and Knights Cross recipient, participated in the invasion of France and commanded the 11th Army during Operation Barbarossa, killed when his observation plane crashed in a Soviet minefield. Schwarz thanks the woman for sending a biography of her late husband, praises the man's conduct and bravery, and believes that the works does his memory justice.
