Unusual, fine association S.P., 8" x 10", a modern print showing an aerial view of the U.S. Navy cruiser USS INDIANAPOLIS, which delivered vital components of the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima to Tinian for final assembly before being sunk by a Japanese submarine, leaving 890 men adrift in the Pacific. The photo is signed in blue ink by Enola Gay pilot PAUL TIBBETS (1915-2007), Bockscar pilot FRED OLIVI (1922-1989), and Indianapolis survivors MICHAEL KURYA, TED M. ERICKSON, LYLE PASKET, ROBERT MCGUIGGAN, ERWIN HENSCH and EUGENE JENSEN. Most add their roles or ranks. In fine condition.
