Very rare postally-used 1943 Theresienstadt parcel admission stamp, with a partial black ink cancel (unidentified). The stamp exhibits none of the traits commonly seen on the many forgeries of these stamps. No gum remaining, otherwise excellent condition as shown. On July 10, 1943 authorities in Bohemia and Moravia began issuing this stamp for use on packages sent to prisoners at the Theresienstadt concentration camp. The stamp was required if a prisoner was to receive the package, and this was simply another means to part Jews with their savings.
