Green-brown wool U.S. Army uniform tunic, bearing the rank insignia of a corporal, as well as a "ruptured duck" honorable discharge patch, a single service bar on the left-hand sleeve, and a distinguished unit patch on the right. Most interestingly, the left shoulder bears the embroidered insignia patch worn by U.S. military personnel assigned to the Manhattan Project from its declassification in 1945 to its end in 1948. The tunic is size-stamped inside the collar, and is in very good to fine condition.
