It features a large central compartment with drawstring closure and a covering flap secured with two webbing straps, with three large exterior pockets on the front and sides, closed with leather straps. The shoulder straps are taupe webbing with black anodized metal adjustment buckles, while the top of the frame is padded with brown leather, and the base is fitted with a taupe webbing strap to cushion the frame at the wearer's waist. The main flap bears the black-stenciled initials "U.S." An approx. 1" hole is present at the top of the flap where it intersects the frame, with expected wear and soiling overall, else very good.
