Good lot of four documents related to the service of Luftwaffe soldier Otto Natho, includes: partly-printed document (unsigned), 1p. 4to., Berlin, June, 6, 1939, an award certificate granting Natho the Spanish Cross in Silver with Swords for his service in the Spanish Civil War. The certificate bears the stamped facsimile signature of Adolf Hitler at the conclusion, beside a blind-embossed wreathed national eagle and swastika. Shows horizontal folds overall, with file holes at the left edge, else very good. WITH: partly-printed document (unsigned), 1p. folio, Burgos, Sep. 30, 1938, a lavishly decorated award certificate granting Natho the Spanish "Medalla de la Campana 1936-38", again for his service in the Spanish Civil War. The facsimile signature of the Spanish Minister of National Defense appears at the conclusion. Shows horizontal folds overall, else very good. WITH: partly-printed D.S., 1p. 8vo., [n.p.], Sep. 21, 1940, an award certificate granting Natho the War Merit Cross, Second Class with Swords. Signed at the conclusion in black ink by Luftwaffe general commanding the "II. Flieger-Korps", BRUNO LOERZER (1891-1960). Shows very light foxing and file holes to the left edge, else very good. WITH: partly-printed D.S., 1p. 4to., Dec. 31, 1940, promoting Natho to the rank of "Oberfeldwebel". Signed at the conclusion in black ink by a Luftwaffe colonel. Shows folds overall and file holes at the left edge, else very good. Four pieces.
