Interesting partly-printed war-date D.S., 2pp. oblong 12 3/4" x 8", [n.p.], March 7, 1941, a "certificate of naturalization" for Theodor Pritsch, a Jewish policeman from Leipzig, who has undoubtedly fled the persecution of Jews in Germany to settle in Palestine. The recto, printed in English, Hebrew and Arabic, attests that Pritsch has applied for and met all the requirements necessary to receive Palestinian citizenship. It is date Jan. 10, 1941 in type, and bears the stamped signature of the British High Commissioner for Palestine at the conclusion. The verso give particulars regarding Pritsch's origin, date of birth, occupation and marital status, with his identity photo affixed at top right and his signature at the conclusion. The form is further signed by an inspector of migration. Shows folds and file holes at the bottom edge, else very good.
