Good lot of three signed items, includes: I.S.P., 8" x 10" b/w, a chest up official portrait in uniform. Clay signs in black ink at right, adding the dedication "With best wishes to Dwight Chapin". Bears a U.S. Army backstamp. Fine. WITH: T.L.S., 1p. 4to., [n.p.], March 30, 1953, to Dwight Chapin, transmitting the above I.S.P. Clay signs at the conclusion in black ink. Fine, WITH: T.L.S., 1p. 4to., [n.p.], Jan. 14, 1960, to Basil O'Connor. Clay expresses his regret at being unable to attend a birthday dinner in honor of Franklin D. Roosevelt, and signs at the conclusion in black ink. Docketed in pencil, else fine. Three pieces.
