Fine dress visor cap of a "Reichsleitung"-level political leader of the NSDAP, consisting of a non-detachable top of white tricot fabric, above a brown velvet band fitted with pale gold piping, indicating the wearer's rank. The center of the band bears a gold-colored metal shell oak wreath surrounding a separate cockade showing a swastika at center, with a gold-colored metal shell political eagle above the band at the peak of the cap. A braided gold chin strap is affixed over the light brown vulcanized fiber visor by a gold-colored pebbled metal button on each side. The interior is fitted with a brown faux-leather sweatband and lined with white rayon, with a celluloid diamond-shaped sweat shield at center. A brown fabric RZM tag identifying the headgear as a "tuchmutze" ("cloth cap") is sewn beneath the sweatband. The interior lining shows a black stain, with additional expected minor soiling and wear commensurate with use, and some minor soiling to the exterior, else very good.
