Rare Army Department Peenemunde partly-printed D.S., 1p. oblong 8vo., Peenemunde, May 31, 1943, concerns a delivery from the firm Demag A.G. in Duisburg which has arrived with a critical part missing, and notes that the "institute of aerodynamics" needs it as a pressure tank must be put in place immediately. Signed "Hermann" at bottom, most likely by RUDOLF HERMANN, director of the supersonic wind tunnel at Peenemunde who later protected his records for use by the Americans. Sold with a second such document, in blank. File holes else very good.
