Very unusual piece of propaganda mailed from Germany, likely by Goebbels' Ministry of Propaganda, to a man in Boston. The envelope bears German postage and was canceled in Neuse on Nov. 11, 1939. It is hand addressed to one "Jerome Richardson" in Boston. Within is an 8pp. 8vo. fold-out brochure allegedly showing starving German children as a result of the British blockade of German ports during World War I and seeking American sympathy, proclaiming: "Not this time, Mr. Churchill!" and "Never again!". Some fold splits to flyer, else very good.
