RUDOLF BRANDT (1904 - 1948) Personal Administrative Officer to Heinrich Himmler, at the Nuremberg Trials he was charged with criminal experimentation on Jewish prisoners and condemned to death. Interestingly, Brandt offered his own body for the same type of evil experimentation which he had undertaken, but for obvious reasons, he was hanged instead. Good association T.L.S., 1p. 4to., Munich, Sep. 3, 1942, from SS-Brigadefuhrer and very early political associate of Hitler CHRISTIAN WEBER (1883-1945) to Himmler, thanking the SS chief for a recent birthday present. Weber signs at the conclusion in black ink, while Brandt signs at the bottom of the page, also in black ink, at the conclusion of a note indicating that the letter was originally mailed to the SS Personnel Office in Berlin. Shows original mailing folds, with file holes at the left edge and staple marks at top left, else very good.
