A scarce article of Third Reich ephemera, a printed formal invitation, 4pp. oblong 12mo., welcoming the recipient to attend the "Reichshubertus" hunting festival at the "Heinberge", a system of small mountains in Lower Saxony, on November 7, 1937. The festival is to be presided over by Hermann Goering as "Reichsjagermeister"("Reich hunting master"), and the itinerary listed within includes an invocation and speech by him, as well as an address from the "Gaujagermeister" ("regional hunting master") of Braunschweig, Freidrich Alpers. The verso bears a printed map showing the location of the "Hainberg" in relation to local villages and other geographical features. Shows a heavy vertical crease at center, else very good.
