T.L.S., 1p. 4to., Washington, D.C., March 22, 1945, to Frank P. K. Barker. Arnold thanks his correspondent for his letter relating the presentation of a silver service award to the TACOMA-class frigate USS GLADWYNE, which was named after Arnold's hometown of Gladwyne, Pennsylvania. He signs at the conclusion in blue ink. Shows original mailing folds, else very good.
