An unusual piece of Third Reich ephemera, a printed concert program, 4pp. 8vo., advertising a performance of selected compositions by Bach at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris on October 16, 1943. Notably, all of the musicians involved are affiliated with the Wehrmacht, including the "Staff Music Corps of the Commandant of Greater Paris", the "Chamber Orchestra of the Wehrmacht Community", and several solo performances by individual soldiers and German Red Cross nurses. The concert itself is sponsored by the "Commandant of Greater Paris", Dietrich von Choltitz. Shows paper loss to the back page at the upper corners where removed from a mount, with a 1" tear at top left on the front page. else very good.
