A sample stationery card produced by the firm of Franz Weber for use by Luftwaffe chief Hermann Goering, 1p. oblong 8vo., showing an embossed and gilt Luftwaffe eagle at top, with the pencil notation in German "Blind embossed Firm Franz Weber". Shows a vertical fold at center. The sample is accompanied by a sample foil Luftwaffe eagle on a thin paper backing. The group is rounded out by a T.L.S. on Franz Weber letterhead, 1p. 4to., Berlin, Dec. 14, 1936, transmitting a testimonial for approval, and a second T.L.S., 1p. 4to., [n.p.], Aug. 9, 1937, addressed to the firm, confirming the receipt of an earlier letter and asking the price of the "...stamp of the German national emblem". Both letters show folds overall, with chips and tears to the edges, else very good. Four pieces.
