Scarce immediately post-war publication in English, "German Crimes in Poland", Vol. II, ed. by the Central Commission for the Investigation of German Crimes in Poland, (Warsaw: Saint Wojciech Printing House), 1947, 171pp. 8vo., compiling a number of reports by the Commission detailing crimes against the Jews of Poland. The table of contents outlines reports on the diary of Hans Frank, Governor-General of Poland; mass executions; the concentration and extermination camps of Belzec, Sobibor and Stutthof; the liquidation of the Warsaw Ghetto; experimental surgeries at Ravensburck; the extermination of mental patients, and more. The reports are liberally illustrated with photographs, many captured from German sources, and diagrams, including a plan showing the layout of Stutthof concentration camp and diagrams of the gas chambers at Belzec. The front cover is detached but present, the pages show toning to the edges, with the brown paper covers showing many chips and the spine partially torn and missing, still a sobering and very detailed document.
