Third Reich-era passport, 32pp. 12mo., issued to Martha Luise Neumann, a German Jewish woman residing in Porto Alegre, Brazil, on November 13, 1939. The passport indicates her birth surname "Butter", listing her date of birth as September 28, 1900, with her identification photo stapled to the second page. The stamps and notes the passport contains further indicate that she traveled throughout South America during the period of World War II, arriving in Uruguay in December of 1941, in Argentina in March of 1943, and returning to Montevideo in August of 1944. Documents stapled within the rear cover further indicate that her vaccinations were confirmed in Uruguay in November of 1941, and certify her permanent residence in Brazil that same month. The spine is partially split, shows some wear overall, else very good.
