A likely unique article of World War II insignia, a trial striking of the Honorable Service Lapel Button, better known as the "Ruptured Duck", stamped in an irregular, approx, 1" square sheet of soft, grey metal alloy as a proof of the design prior to full-scale production in brass. While the production version of this insignia is very common, we have yet to see a test version such as this.
