(1896 - 1974) Soviet Field Marshall, perhaps the greatest general of World War II, he survived crushing poverty and Stalin's purges to command the Russian armies at the monumental battles of Moscow and Kursk, and in the taking of Berlin. Partly-printed D.S. in Cyrillic ,4pp. 4to., [n.p.], Dec. 26, 1952, an untranslated military attestation for an officer. Zhukov signs on the final page in blue ink. Shows holes at the left edge where disbound, with a horizontal fold at center, else very good.
