(1887 - 1949) Fourth son of German Emperor Wilhelm II and a high SA leader, a dupe of the Nazis who was arrested on 8 May 1945 by US troops and sentenced to three years. S.P. 3 1/4" x 5 1/4" sepia, shows the prince in party uniform, signed adding his S.A. rank and the year "1932" at bottom. The card bears a T.L.S. on verso from an unknown S.A. member to WOLFGANG FOERSTER who is congratulated for his appointment as director of the Reichsarchiv. Fine. WITH: a 1955 T.L.S in German by Prince Frederick of Prussia (1911–1966), and a 1938 A.N.S. on the verso of a postcard by Prince August Wilhelm of Prussia (1887–1949), called "Auwi", the fourth son of Wilhelm II and a vocal supporter of Nazism and of Adolf Hitler.
