Pair of stiffened and white-painted leather cuffs, each approx. 7 1/4" x 5 1/4", as worn with the dress uniform of the Prussian "Gardes du Corps", the personal bodyguard of the King of Prussia, and the post-unification Kaiser. The interior of one of the pair shows a fabric label printed with the name of a soldier, "Gefreiter Specht" and his regiment number. The second cuff is stamped with a size marking in black ink. Both show cracking and flaking to the paint overall, else very good.
