CONDOR LEGION VETERAN'S REUNION PLAQUE
Reunion plaque owned by a member of the Condor Legion, a carved wood shield-shaped plaque 11.5 in. wide and 14 in. tall, bearing a thick brass circular insert with an 8 in. diameter. The plaque bears two crosses at the top and the year '1939' carved in relief, with part of the background being stippled. The inset bears an image of an eagle superimposed atop a falling bomb and letter in relief: 'LEGION CONDOR 2/K.88', and it is personalized with an engraving: 'HELM. BLAUERT - 25 - 84 JURGENS-EGGERT' and 'ESPANA'. Some slight discoloration of the lacquer about the edge of the brass insert, else very good. 2. K/88 was a bomber group commanded by Hauptmann v. Buttlar und Brandenfels and utilized Heinkels and Dorniers.

Signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling and shipping charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight.
