The recto features a cartoon on the left half depicting an Iraqi soldier surrendering to an American soldier, a thought bubble appearing above his head showing him and his family. The right half reads in part: ‘...If you want to save your life...please withdraw your ammunition magazine from your weapon...barrel pointed down...Put your hands above your head...approach slowly...' On the verso is the symbol for the Joint Forces and text assuring the recipient that they will be treated well upon surrender. Spotted and creased throughout. Sold with three printed versions of leaflets, 2pp. 6 x 3 in., warning against the use of weapons of mass destruction. The recto shows a chilling image of soldiers with gas masks and children lying dead amongst the rubble.
