POST-CIVIL WAR MEDICAL SADDLE BAGS
Interesting medical relic, ca. 1880 medical saddle bags, i.e.: two bags joined by a wide leather strap meant to drape across a saddle, bedroll, etc., the leather boxes with handles at top, measures 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" x 3 1/2" deep with compartments within for holding small bottles and sleeves for ampoules, etc. Five small containers remain within. Some warping and signs of use, still good condition.
