(1892-1981) The first and only legally-recognized wife of Mexican Revolutionary leader PANCHO VILLA (1878-1923). Good lot of three signed items, includes: T.L.S., 1p. 4to., Chihuahua, March 19, 1971, to Mrs. Linda Miller. Villa thanks her correspondent for her letter and information on a recent article on her husband, and encloses two photographs bearing her signature. She signs at the conclusion in blue ink. Shows original mailing folds, else very good to fine. WITH: Pair of I.S.P.'s, each a 3 ½" x 5 ½" post card, the first a chest-up view of Luz Corral de Villa with her husband, and the second a chest-up view of Pancho Villa alone, with his signature below in the negative. Luz signs on the verso of both in blue ink, adding a dedication in Spanish and the date. The photos show bumps to the corners and minor soiling, else very good. The original transmittal envelope is also present. Three pieces.
