(1875 - 1961) Swiss psychiatrist in association with Freud, a founder of analytic psychology who developed theories of the collective unconscious and archetypes. Interesting content A.L.S "C. G> Jung" on the verso of a postcard, [n.p. but Bollingen], [n.d. but Nov. 11, 1922], to H. G. Leach, editor of The Forum. In part: "...I am actually working on the paper...But I am afraid you have to go through the barbarous style of it. You will see that English is certainly not my mother tongue. Mr. Johnson is quite right. I have said the same in my paper it is a rhythm that goes right through Negro Africa, it is unmistakably the rhythm of the N'gome, the dance. Some times it is even syncopated...". Staple hole at top left, otherwise very good condition.
