Description:

(1942 - 1994) Notorious mass murderer of over thirty young men whom he buried beneath his home, executed after many appeals and postponements. Good content T.L.S. "John", 2pp. 4to., Menard Correctional Center, Dec. 24, 1985. Gacy continues his correspondence with our consignor, a regular pen-pal, in part: "...So what's this Nancy moved out, by choice, or is it over for the two fo you for now. Not to be nosy, but I guess I am, I had to go through that several times... Even with a nine room house one woman can mess up the whole place. I had to go out of town for ten days to Baltimore, when I came back to the house, you would have though a family of six were living there. Dishes stacked up in the sink, every towels in the bathroom used, she had to have two for each bath each day... When I confronted here you know what she told me? 'Hell you can't expect me to do the house work after working all day.' Fuck that, I told her I didn't think things were going to work out for us as I can't stand the messyness when I leave it in such good order... Now on to the visiting, if you should happen to get out this way, no need to worry about what to wear, as long as you have clothes on... What your not allowed to do is bring anything in to me, no gifts of any kind... Illinois is far ahead of others in treatment of inmates. I of course sit with just handcuffs on, that at all times, and a camera watches us the whole time... [all sic]" He signs at the conclusion in black ink. The original transmittal envelope, as well as the letter from our consignor to which Gacy is responding, are also present. Very good.
