Description:

(1942 - 1994) Notorious mass murderer of over thirty young men whom he buried beneath his home, executed after many appeals and postponements. Good content T.L.S. "John", 1p. 4to., Menard Correctional Center, March 5, 1986. Gacy continues his correspondence with our consignor, a regular pen-pal, in part: "...They have tighten security around me and my visits ever since Russ Ewing came out with a new book called 'Buried Dreams'. The bastard claims that he got all of his information from taped interviews here at the prison. Hell he was only here once back on April 30, 1980 and then he was here for an hour. He was then administratively ban from entering the prison because he passed himself off as a defense investigator for my case. Well the book Buried Dreams came out, no doubt you saw the AP news clipping about it on February 5th, it went nation wide. On February 13th, we went to court and had subpoenas drawn against Cahill, Ewing, and Bantam books to show cause why charges of fraud and deception should not be brought against them... I believe at that time we will also enter into a civil lawsuit for 10 million dollars against all three. I have informed my attorneys that I want to make an example out of this nigger, and the speed asshole. You know this is the fifth book written, and not one of them is factual, mostly fantasy and part facts from the transcripts. Yet they want you to believe that this is the official story of my life and crime. Bullshit!... [all sic]" He signs at the conclusion in black ink. The original transmittal envelope is also present. Very good. A mimeographed copy of a dirty joke is also present.
